Spring is here, and it is the perfect time to explore the wonderful natural world around us! We’re excited to announce our “Spring Outdoor Exploration Challenge” for all our nursery children and their families.
The Challenge
We invite you and your child to go on a nature treasure hunt! See if you can find:
- 5 different leaf shapes
- 4 different trees
- 3 different flowers
- 2 rain clouds
- 1 rainbow
Take photos of your discoveries and upload them to Tapestry to share your adventure with us!
Why Outdoor Exploration Matters
Exploring outdoors helps children:
- Develop curiosity and observation skills
- Learn about the natural world around them
- Build their vocabulary as they describe what they see
- Get physical exercise and fresh air

Getting Started
You don’t need to travel far! This activity can be done in your local park, garden, or even on a walk around your neighbourhood. Make it a game – who can spot the different items first?
