Butterflies class have been working on developing their skills with tools and combining materials since September.
They have developed perseverance, hand eye coordination, fine motor skills and how to plan and make their ideas come alive!
The children are learning to focus, believe in themselves, and keep trying; these skills will help them so much as they grow and develop into curious learners.
All of the structures in the pictures were built with little or no adult help, just encouragement! We then explored how light affected and changed the structures they had built; the fascination and interest encouraged some amazing language and questions.
All of these structures were made out of recycled boxes and tape, I wonder what you could build at home?
