Squirrel class have had a wonderful time developing their core strength by pulling themselves up on the climbing frame at the MUGA (Multi Use Games Area).
MUGAs create an inclusive and dynamic environment where children can play, learn, and thrive. They also offer a fun and engaging way to develop physical and mental skills.
Regular activity in a multi-use games area greatly helps stimulate interest and enthusiasm for staying active.
Some children have been holding their bodies up for as long as possible. Others have learnt to swing their feet up to the bar and hold themselves in this position!
This has been so popular that we have formed a line to queue, we have introduced mathematical language “first in the line”, “second” “in front” and “behind”. What very athletic children!
