We are going to be celebrating World Book Day next Wednesday, 1st March. We will read many stories and dress up as our favourite book characters. If you would like to come in fancy dress, you are very welcome. Homemade outfits are the best, so please don’t feel you have to buy a costume, especially for one day. We have outfits here children can use as well. We just ask for superheroes to stay at home on this occasion, but book characters are more than welcome.
Maybe you would like to come in and read a story to a small group of children? We know lots of you speak another language at home so it would be lovely to hear some stories in different languages. Speak to the staff in the room if you would like to come in and share a story.
Children will be receiving a £1 book token to buy a book. Morrisons usually redeem vouchers in store. Which one you will choose?
